The basics of all human experiences stems from their want and ability to learn, therefore someone must be there to guide understanding and exposure to the world for each individual. My ability to nurture new insights leading to the attainment of knowledge allows me a sense of fulfillment. I believe that through an involved approach to learning, where the learner is engaged in the learning process allows for the learner to be a stakeholder in the direction of the education. I know there is not a "one size fits all" to learning, and so I have been training in a variety of teaching methodologies including Experiential learning, Learning Management Systems, Modular Learning Systems and Curriculum Development.
My educational background includes a MS in Educational Leadership from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have a BS in Technology Education from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia with my State of Georgia certification in Engineering Technology and Teacher Support Specialist. In my teaching career I have taught Drafting, Engineering, Audio/Video Technology, Energy Systems, Graphics Design and Unmanned Systems. Currently overseeing the county-wide day to day operations as Director of Career & Technical Education.
